A quiet lane leads down to the centre of the village in a few minutes, with its "plateia" (the village square) shaded by ancient plane trees and waterfront tavernas.

Only 16 km away is the harbour town of Fiskardo, which is also well worth seeing and invites you to take a boat trip or simply to a café with a view of the many arriving and departing boats and yachts.
